Laws for Paws—October 5, 2024
On Saturday, October 5, 2024, Colorado Voters for Animals will be sponsoring the Fifth Annual Laws for Paws Award Fundraiser Event that recognizes Colorado lawmakers who have contributed to animal welfare and protection. This event also serves to raise funds to enable our all-volunteer organization to continue its important life-saving work. This year’s event will take place at The Cable Center at The University of Denver and includes Drinks, Live Music, a Sit-Down dinner, Live and Silent Auctions and an Award Ceremony.
For over 25 years, Colorado Voters for Animals has been working at the State Capitol and across Colorado to be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. CVA’s mission is to stop animal suffering before it begins by helping elect animal friendly legislators and working with them to pass strong animal protection legislation. CVA is a Colorado-based non-profit that has a history of helping craft laws that directly improve the lives of Colorado animals.

Protests in Front of Puppy-Selling Retail Stores
3CW and Bailing Out Benji are joining forces to educate the public about retail puppy stores and where their puppies come from. We rally to educate the public in front of Perfect Pets – 6840 S University Blvd., Centennial, CO 80122.

CLAW Caucus Dates
The Colorado Legislative Animal Welfare Caucus will set the dates for its 2025 meetings. The meetings are generally held on the third Thursday of each month at Noon in Room 357 of the State Capitol. Tentative upcoming meeting dates are:
