Colorado Citizens for Canine Welfare will continue its fight against puppy mills by rallying at Perfect Pets at 6840 S. University Blvd. (the corner of University and Arapahoe) in Centennial.

3CW supporters will be gathering in front of the store from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the following Saturdays:

Feb. 8 and 22

March 14 and 28

April 4 and 25

May 9 and 23

June 6 and 20

July 11 and 25

As they say, it takes a village and 3CW will be there and we hope you can join us. We need as many volunteers as we can get to make the public aware of this store and the truth about where they get their puppies. We also want to guide the public to shelters and rescues to adopt a pet. The animal cruelty begins at the puppy mills and often continues because of pet stores that sell puppies born at a puppy mill.

We will park in the parking lot same side as Perfect Pets but facing the street and as far north as Natural Grocers store. Dress for the weather elements–hat, gloves, hand warmers, boots, shades, sunscreen–and bring drinks/snacks, and whatever else you may need. This is a high-volume traffic area with loud noises so 3CW asks you to not bring your dog for their safety. We ask that you be respectful and do not yell at the customers walking into the store. If the owner comes out to confront us in any way, turn your back and walk away from him. We can only be on public sidewalk, not the grass.

If you want to join us and have questions, contact us here through this website.

Hope to see you at a rally!
